2025-2026 Season Calendar: May 17 Company auditions for 2025-2026 Season, 10-11:30am July 1 Online registration opens at www.bristolballet.org/registration July 28, 29, 31, and August 2 In-person registrations, dancewear fittings, open house July 28, 29, 31: 5-8pm August 2: 10am-2pm August 11 Classes begin August 16 Nutcracker auditions 10am-12pm Company 12-12:45pm Ballet 1 and Ballet 2 12:45-1:45pm Ballet 3, Ballet 4, and Ballet 5 August 23 Nutcracker rehearsals begin for company members September 1 No classes – Labor Day September 6 (tentative) Party Scene and Children’s roles rehearsals begin October 1 $50 deposit for spring production costumes due November 26, 27, 28 No classes – Thanksgiving Holiday December 6 The Nutcracker at Southwest Virginia Community College December 8-11 Tech rehearsals at the Paramount for The Nutcracker December 12-13 Bristol Ballet’s performances of The Nutcracker December 13 Last day of classes for first semester January 5 Classes begin for second semester January 10 Company Auditions for Spring Production, 10-11:30am January 17 Company Spring Production Rehearsals begin February 7 Spring Production Rehearsals for Ballet 3, 4, and 5 begin March 1 Balance due on spring concert costumes Mid-March to early April (dates TBD) Spring school show tour for company members March 27: Pro-Art School Show; other dates TBD April 3 No classes – Good Friday May 2 Full studio rehearsal for all students for the spring production May 8 Tech and dress rehearsal for spring production May 9 Bristol Ballet Spring Student Concert at the Paramount TBD (usually the week after student concert) Studio dance photos by Richard Mink May 16 (tentative) Company auditions for 2026-2027 season June 8-12 (tentative) Children’s summer camps (ages 3-12) June 22-26 (tentative) Intermediate/Advanced Summer Intensive with special guest teacher Note: Bristol Ballet does not close for spring break since we serve students from several different school systems, which rarely have their spring breaks at the same time. |
