Dress Codes
Dress codes:
Wearing the proper attire for ballet class enables the instructor
to see that the body is properly aligned and that correct muscles
are being used. In addition, it teaches discipline and encourages
a sense of pride in the student.
Dancewear will be ordered through Bristol Ballet. Payment is due
at the time of ordering.
Pre-Ballet, Pre-Primary and Primary levels – Pastel
pink leotard, pink ankle socks, Bloch pink full sole ballet shoes.
Ballet 1 – Pastel blue leotard, light pink
ankle socks, Bloch pink full sole ballet shoes.
Ballet 2/3 –Lavender leotard (Ballet 2),
Burgundy leotard (Ballet 3), light pink tights, Bloch pink full
sole ballet shoes, black character shoes.
Ballet 4 – Royal blue leotard, light pink
tights, Bloch pink full sole ballet shoes, black character shoes,
pointe shoes as recommended by instructor for qualifying students.
Int/Adv – Black leotard, pink seamed tights,
Block ballet shoes, black character shoes, pointe shoes as recommended
by instructor.
Hair must be off the face in pony tale or bun for Pre-Ballet through
Grade 1, and must be in a bun for Ballet 2 and higher.
No skirts or legwarmers are allowed in class.
No jewelry is allowed. (Small stud earrings are acceptable for
pierced ears.)
No chewing gum, food, or water bottles are allowed in the studio.
