2026-2027 Season Calendar: May 16 Company auditions for 2026-2027 Season, 10-11:30am July 1 Online registration opens at www.bristolballet.org/registration July 27, 28, 30, and August 1 In-person registrations, dancewear fittings, open house; free trial classes on August 1 July 27, 28, 30: 5-8pm August 1: 10am-2pm August 10 Classes begin August 15 Nutcracker auditions 10am-12pm: Company 12-12:45pm: Ballet 1 and Ballet 2 12:45-1:45pm: Ballet 3 and Ballet 4 August 22 Nutcracker rehearsals begin for company members September 1 No classes – Labor Day September 5 Party Scene and Children’s roles rehearsals begin October 1 $50 deposit for spring production costumes due November 25, 26, 27 No classes – Thanksgiving Holiday December 5 The Nutcracker with Pro-Art Association December 8-10 Tech rehearsals at the Paramount for The Nutcracker December 11 and 12 Bristol Ballet’s performances of The Nutcracker at Paramount Bristol December 12 Last day of classes for first semester January 4 Classes begin for second semester January 9 Company Auditions for Spring Production, 10am-12pm January 16 Company Spring Production Rehearsals begin February 6 Spring Production Rehearsals for Ballet 3 and 4 begin March 15 Balance due on spring concert costumes Mid-March to early April (date TBD) Spring school show at the Paramount for company members March 26 No classes – Good Friday May 1 Full studio rehearsal for all students for the spring production May 6-7 Tech and dress rehearsal for spring production May 8 Bristol Ballet Spring Student Concert at the Paramount TBD (usually the week after student concert) Studio dance photos by Richard Mink May 15 (tentative) Company auditions for 2027-2028 season June 7-11 (tentative) Children’s summer camps (ages 3-12) June 14-18 (tentative) Intermediate/Advanced Summer Intensive with special guest teacher Note: Bristol Ballet does not close for spring break since we serve students from several different school systems, which rarely have their spring breaks at the same time. |
