May 18: Company auditions, 10-11:30am

July 1: Online registration opens at www.bristolballet.org/registration

July 29, 30, August 1, 3: In-person registrations, dancewear fittings, open house
July 29, 30, August 1: 5-8pm
August 3: 10am-2pm

August 12: Classes begin

August 17: Nutcracker auditions
10am-12pm Company
12-12:45pm Ballet 1 and Ballet 2
12:45-1:45pm Ballet 3 and Ballet 4

August 24: Nutcracker rehearsals begin for company members

September 2: Labor Day, no classes

September 7 (tentative): Party Scene and Children’s roles rehearsals begin

October 1: $50 deposit for spring production costumes due

November 27, 28, 29: Thanksgiving, no classes

December 7: The Nutcracker at Southwest Virginia Community College

December 10-12: Tech rehearsals at the Paramount for The Nutcracker

December 13-14: Bristol Ballet’s performances of The Nutcracker

December 14: Last day of classes for the first semester

January 6: Classes begin for the second semester

January 11: Company auditions for spring production, 10-11:30am

March 1: Balance due for spring costumes

Mid March to early April (dates TBD): Spring school show tour for company members

April 18: Good Friday, no classes

May 3: Full studio rehearsal for all students for the spring production

May 9-10: Tech and dress rehearsal for spring production

May 10: Bristol Ballet Spring Student Concert at the Paramount

TBD (usually the week after student concert): Studio dance portraits by Richard Mink

June 9-13 (tentative): Children’s summer camps

June 16-20 (tentative): Intermediate/Advanced Summer Intensive with special guest teachers

May 17 (tentative): Company auditions for 2025-2026 season

Bristol Ballet does not close for spring break since we serve students from several different school systems, which rarely have their spring breaks at the same time.
 
All students except Creative Movement and Mommy and Me/Caregiver and Child will participate in the Spring Student Concert. Costumes for that production will be purchased by parents. Company members will not have to purchase costumes.
